Everyone is different. There is never a "one size fits all" solution. Individuals need to identify these things about themselves, because it will help them make better decisions for their specific situation.
Set actionable goals
Everyone has goals, but not everyone takes the time to learn the necessary steps to accomplish them. Individuals need to create actionable goals that are well planned out. From there, they can apply this skill when pursuing a career or other things life.
Identify a career that is the right fit
Explore the different careers that are out there. There are pros and cons for different paths. Students must also learn the job searching process (interviews, resumes, etc.) . We should teach additional topics like how to get promoted.
Learn the nitty gritty things in life
High school students don't have that much time. They need a crash course in the most critical areas. Some include how to be money smart, building a rainy-day fund, how to budget, where to save/invest, types of insurance, how to pay taxes, and building credit.
